Healthy Homes - We are now moving into the next stage of dealing with homes and each home wheather new or old will have to be assessed to ensure the home complies with changes coming into effect on 1 July 2021,
At Prime Rentals we will be sending a trained person to assess photograph and report on all matters relating to Healthy Homes Legalisation. Any imformation that tenants can give us about their home is greatly appreciated. It maybe a draft under a door, or around a loose window latch or a loose downpipe. We run a tight ship on maintenance.

Home Insulation we have had some very appreciative tenants say that they greatly appreciate the new ceiling and under floor insulation in their homes. This has a big impact on family life particulary with young children as we move into a better quality of housing in New Zealand

Day light saving time switched back and here we head into winter. We are very short of homes in the $280 to $380 per week rent range and have good families looking. We appreciate the huge amount of referral business we receive and again thank our loyal clients for new business.

A couple of weeks ago I was interviewed by Bay of Plenty times reporter about the Tauranga rental property market and on Easter Saturday the following article on the front page of BOP Times. The rental market does have a large volume of rentals but the headline certainly has impacted on tenants. The important thing to remember there are a large number of worn out rental properties and if tenants want a nice home with insulation heat pump and refurbishment work they will being paying in the top 25% of rent range shown on rents on Department of building website.

WOW what a start to the year. January and Feburary have been our best months ever for the start of a year. Friday we took an extended coffee break at fixation a few metres down the road. The coffee break turned into a brunch. It was great to get out of office as a team. Wanting a great coffee checkout Fixation Coffee on dive cresent Tauranga.

The long hot summer has been great in the Bay with record number of cruise ships and vistors to the bay enjoying the long hot summer. The mood in the city is good and has reflected onto our clients.

There is a huge volume of rentals at start of year. Why is everyone moving. On examination this was not the case, we clearly had a larger share of the rental market. January has been our busiest January ever and great effort was put in by all staff. They were rewarded with a specail day on the lake in Rotorua.
